Local Insurance Women Partner to Create ‘Workplace
Wellness Partners’
Kimberly, Wis. – October 7, 2009 – Two
local health insurance benefits providers, Chris Hanson
of Hanson Benefits and Pamela Utpadel of Universal
Insurance Advisors, have created WorkPlace Wellness
Partners ‘Your Life in Your Hands’,
to help small businesses address employee health.
These two women are addressing a market that cannot
easily afford to implement their own workplace wellness
programs. Their company, WorkPlace Wellness Partners,
will provide seminars and educational resources to
over their 200 small businesses served from their
agencies.
Utpadel and Hanson have hosted one seminar already
for their clients. The speaker, Kurt Eggebrecht, from
the City of Appleton Health Department, discussed
building continuity of business operations in the
event of an H1N1 influenza outbreak. .

Benefits Inc. is an independent insurance agency
providing group and individual benefits, financial
services, business insurance and human resources consulting.
Hanson Benefits is an endorsed agent for the health
plans of the Wisconsin Builders Association and the
Chambers of Commerce of the Fox Cities, Heart of the

Universal Insurance Advisors based in Appleton, Wisconsin,
specializes in health insurance for small businesses.
The firm conducts insurance research, negotiates the
