United Healthcare Announces Enhancements
Effective 8/1/07, United Healthcare will begin offering COBRA, State Continuation, Pre-Tax Premium (PTP), and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) through United Healthcare Benefit Services, an integrated company under United Healthcare Group. These services will be available for no fee to all United Healthcare clients.
Effective 12/1/07, United Healthcare will discontinue their relationship with Employee Benefits Corporation (EBC). Current United Healthcare/EBC clients will be transitioned over to the United Healthcare Benefit Services over the upcoming months. You certainly have the option to remain with EBC, however, monthly admin fees/renewal fees will apply after December 1, 2007.

2008 Contribution Limits Set by IRS
The Internal revenue Service (IRS) sets the contribution limit amounts for Health Savings Accounts. The IRS recently announced the contribution limits for 2008, which are $2,900 for those with individual coverage and $5,800 for those with family coverage.

In order to ensure that you do not have an interruption in your coverage, timely monthly premium payments are a must. You should know that once the carrier receives your monthly premium payment, it can take 7-10 days for your premium payment to be posted to your account. Please keep this in mind when making your payments, so your coverage remains continuous.

Sometimes it seems like just yesterday that I left corporate life to venture out on my own, and sometimes it feels like an eternity ago! I so much appreciate all of you! As you have allowed us to take care of your benefits needs and be an advisor to you, our business has blossomed and grown.
With our move to a more centrally located office near CE and 441, we can easily meet with our clients either at their location, or at ours. It won’t be long though before we outgrow our current space, as we are now developing the next full-time position and will be hiring soon!
I hope you are enjoying the cheerful voice and help that you receive from Ann when you call our office. I am blessed to have added such a caring insurance specialist to our team. And without Therese working on your renewal comparisons, how could you easily compare your plan designs with what is going on in the marketplace?
